(Note: We ran into a manufacturing problem with the headliner. Gee, thanks OPG! They made it wrong! My interior guy is trying to repair it....we may just have to get another one. We will let you know what happened........)

There are the only few remaining items to get done on this car. It is a running driving car now. I am really happy with the way it has turned out. It has gobs of power, shifts great, and handles more like a slot car that a Nova wagon. I found that the 2" lowering blocks I used were a little much compared to the front so I installed one inch blocks now. That leveled the body out. I got the caps on and it looks really sleeper. The short version is that we installed Dynamat everywhere and Dynaliner on the floor and roof. I have an NOS set of 63 caps to install on the painted wheels. This car looks cool with the steelies and large horsepower!

I gotta thank my old friend Bob for helping install the doors and tailgate. It was fun working with a guy I have known forever! Also, a big heap 'o thanks to Steve, another long time friend for helping put this motor and trans in. It is good to have friends when doing this work!

Another aspect of restoration is fixing small rust issues. Here is one we had to deal with. We completed a rust repair job on the rear frame rail end. You can see the job by clicking here FRAME RAIL RESTORATION".

The car is now insured, will be licensed next week, and then expect to see this baby on the streets of St. Louis.
