8/25/10 Just about completed the steering column install.
8/26/10 Next UP: Reinstall column for final mock up.

I have been wanting to build this car for years. I will give you some of the info now, but much more later. I am going to build a "super car". One that will compete on a road course, dragstrip, and in everyday driving. It will combine handling, performance, braking, and have excellent drivablity. Feature comforts will abound including electric doors, windows, trunks, remote entry, and luxury car lighting.

Drivetrain will consist of a Fuel Injected Big Block Chevy motor with 550+ horsepower, 6 speed Tremec, 12 bolt posi rear running 3.31 gears, lowered, hydraboost disc brakes, modified suspension to make it a great handling street car. I am going pretty radical with the fuel injection on this one. You will have to wait to see what that is going to be...stay tuned.

There will be many subtle custom touches, but nothing to disturb the classic lines of the vehicle. The interior will be highly updated with many hidden modern touches. The interior styling will be contemporary, but with an "old school" vibe, but with all the function and modern touches that a typical high-end luxury car has today.

Note: The mock-up motor and trans is in, and will give you some idea of where we are going with this thing. Check out all the pics on the chassis. Lots to tell and see.
